The X320 combines innovation in industrial design and engineering excellence to create an instrument that is ideal for use in food processing, automotive, chemical or pharmaceutical applications or applications that require reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions.
The food grade, impact resistant composite alloy housing incorporates a double ‘o’ ring seal which provides superior performance over traditional stainless steel enclosures. The X320 is rated to IP69K which is the industry’s highest environmental protection rating. It has been designed to withstand cleaning with high pressure water jets (1400psi) at high temperatures (up to 80°C) from multiple angles.
The innovative use of a capacitive keyboard allows the front panel to be constructed as a single piece. The X320 keypad senses an operator’s finger, whether gloved or not, from the inside of the enclosure. There are no moving parts to wear out, no glue to deteriorate and no keypad tails to fail due to vibration or corrosion. The strength of the single front facia increases the durability of the instrument, protecting the LCD and electronics from external impacts.
The X320 indicator builds on Rinstrum’s already successful R320 IP65 indicator. It provides general purpose weighing functions and has an integrated check-weigh function with status LEDs built into the front fascia.

The R300 series of indicators builds on over 15 years of design experience to create a series of cost effective reliable products that are ideal for use in mobile applications such as forklifts, platforms, inside truck cabs and crane scales, OEM applications. The R320's combination of features, compact housing and powering options make it suitable for basic weighing on a scale through to OEM applications. The unit's software is run from flash memory and can be upgraded in the field using the rin-link connection.

Using one recipe, a hopper is filled to a bulk amount then batched out into a mixer vessel to a target amount using auto correction. The system is set to send an “end of batch” signal to the PLC on batch” signal to the PLC on
The targets for the batch in (MAT1 material 1) and the batch out (MAT2 material 2) are set through the front key pad or Viewer software. The MAT1 target is a positive weight and is the bulk fill of the hopper and MAT2 is a negative weight
as it is the actual batched out quantity. MAT2 should be lesser value than MAT1 to avoid the batched out falling short.
An external start button is configured and a BATCH button is set on the programmable function key on the indicator. The cycle is set to automatically restart in this case but it can be set as a single batch run only. When auto is used a BATCH or PAUSE key is recommended to allow the batch process to be halted.
